Starting in May of 2021 all schools in Uganda have been subject to a lock down. This is a part of the governments aggressive efforts to keep the people safer from the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus otherwise known as “corona virus.”
The school has been closed and our teachers have been out of work for this time.
As of this month it looks as if the schools will be allowed to reopen one candidate class in November. The candidate class that has been chosen for this reopening is Primary Seven.
If all goes well all classes may be open sometime in January of 2022.
This is the tentative reopening and the government may choose to alter this timeline based on the severity of the virus.
We are all looking forward to being back to school and furthering our future and continuing our education of the children.
